SirionLabs Achieves SAP-Certified Integration with Cloud Solutions from SAP
SirionLabs, the global leader in AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM), announced that its SirionOne platform has achieved SAP Ariba certification for integration with SAP's cloud solutions from the SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC). The integration enables new levels of contract intelligence for customers across legal, procurement, and sales teams by plugging into SAP Ariba and unlocking access to business-critical information in real-time from within enterprise applications. It provides enterprises with seamless experiences by automating workflows such as the procure-to-pay cycle, purchase order (PO) creation, payments approvals, and spend analytics. "With this strategic integration, SAP customers can easily manage and optimize end-to-end processes such as sourcing, contracting and spending analysis," said Puneet Bhakri, SVP of Global Alliances & Partnerships at SirionLabs. "SirionLabs' interoperability with SAP cloud solutions allows even more enterprises to automate how they develop, manage, and measure contract performance across their organizations."
Artificial Intelligence in Procurement – From Insight to Action
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is expected to have a more profound impact on humanity than electricity or fire, according to Google's CEO Sundar Pichai. In the manufacturing business heavy investments are being made in AI. It is predicted to affect every step within the supply chain process in future, enabling more efficient procurement activities than ever before. Numerous vendors already claim to operate with this intelligent technology. But the reigning buzzword is not always understood, used and promoted correctly, which leads to confusion both by buyers and sellers.
The Importance of Balance and Intelligent Spend in the Organisation of Tomorrow
Today is the slowest business will ever run. In today's world, it is the small companies that beat the large enterprises with speed and agility, according to Valerie Blatt -- Global Vice President SAP. Companies such as Spotify are forcing incumbents such as Apple to change their music business. Therefore, for the organisation of tomorrow to remain relevant, they need faster, better and more intelligence. Last month, I was invited to join SAP Ariba Live in Barcelona.

Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning Change the Game for Procurement
Artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning are everywhere, and they are ushering in momentous change, altering the way we shop for and consume goods and services in our personal lives. They are also having a tremendous impact on businesses -- particularly in the way that buying and selling get done. So what exactly are these technologies? Among the most promising and fast-developing applications of AI is machine learning. And just as its name suggests, it is where computers learn to perform tasks without having been programmed specifically to do them.
How to deliver value with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - watch this video
Watch this video and get a real use case how machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) work. Have you ever asked yourself, how to measure marketing spend and how often your ads are really recognized by people watching TV? Machine learning technology teaches computers how to perform tasks by learning from data – instead of being explicitly programmed. SAP Leonardo provides a digital innovation system that enables customers to innovate rapidly with their own apps based on their own unique IP and scale this innovation to redefine their businesses, like this video shows. The author is chief digital officer of SAP Ariba, the world's largest business network, linking together buyers and suppliers from more than 3 million companies in 190 countries.
The Future of Business for an Intelligent World
The intelligent world is truly upon us, and based on the technological advancements that we are becoming used to, one cannot wait for the future to arrive. In this intelligent world, there is pressure on businesses to deliver an exceptional customer experience, and to use every technology they can to ensure that the customers get what they expect. I recently had the opportunity to attend the SAP Ariba Live event in Amsterdam. The event is one of the biggest supply chain and procurement conferences held across the globe. At the conference, I had the opportunity to hear and witness excellent use cases, and speak to the president of SAP Ariba, Barry Padgett.
How to Future-Proof Supply Chains
With today's technology, there's no excuse for not innovating and envisioning how to make things better. Innovation knows many different drivers. However, where technology meets innovation is the birthplace of new ideas. As machine intelligence capabilities continue to move into mainstream for business processes, all companies need to focus on how to innovate at a faster pace to ensure they stay ahead of competition and establish a long lasting competitive advantage. To create lasting technology-driven business innovation, companies need to empower their core with data and technology.

What If Your Business Was So Intelligent That Nothing Came As A Surprise
Artificial intelligence (AI) is gearing up to help business leaders never be blindsided again. It's not that AI will prevent hurricanes, worker strikes, ingredient shortages, or competitor surges. But it could mean companies aren't taken by surprise because employees will have the ability to always make the best decisions, potentially turning major disasters into minor setbacks with reduced risk. This is the kind of world a group of experts envisioned during a roundtable session at the recent SAP Ariba Live event entitled, "Explore the Future of Intelligent Procurement: Getting to Smarter Decisions." Hosted by Drew Hofler, vice president of Portfolio Marketing at SAP Ariba, the breakout delved into how business processes like procurement are scaling new heights in intelligent automation.
